Course Overview

This course is designed to educate school staff on pediatric migraine, treatment options, the role of lifestyle changes, the importance of advocacy and equity in care, and how to use free resources to support students living with migraine at school.

Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  • Understand the signs, symptoms, and impact of pediatric migraine.

  • Recognize treatment options and support students at school.

  • Identify common migraine triggers and strategies to help prevent attacks.

  • Empower students to advocate for their needs and access school accommodations.

  • Recognize barriers to care and promote equitable support for all students.

  • Use free Migraine at School resources to strengthen school-based migraine care.

    Our team travels to qualifying districts to provide an interactive continuing education session for school nurses and other school health professionals. This option includes live instruction, discussion, and opportunities to address your district's specific needs.

    Available for districts serving approximately 100,000+ students or by invitation. Eligible districts are encouraged to contact us early to reserve available dates.
